BOARD CERTIFIED, INTERNAL MEDICINE

Benito Calderon, MD

As the founder of Calderon Medical Group, Dr. Calderon is a Board Certified physician that believes medical care is a partnership between individuals and himself, the provider. A key aspect of this relationship are the reasons that families seek treatment and trust him and his team to provide the care. In his practice, he strives to offer clinical and lifestyle perspectives. Assessments include careful considerations of social relationships, fluctuating mental states, family, lifestyle, socio-economic and cultural factors. Calderon Medical Group is focused on a person’s well-being. As a team, the philosophy is to ask: are we providing the same care we would want our loved ones to receive? They recognize the value of the partnership and people having a choice to make an informed decision about their health.  A strong desire to help others is why Dr. Calderon chose to be a Physician. He has been practicing in Las Vegas for nearly twenty years and is married with three daughters.

BOARD CERTIFIED, INTERNAL MEDICINE

Marcelino Belizario, MD

Dr Belizario is an Internal Medicine Physician specializing in Adult Health who has over two decades of experience providing acute hospital and primary care to the Las Vegas community. Throughout his extensive tenure as a hospitalist, Dr. Belizario astutely observed that a significant number of patient admissions were attributable to conditions that could have been prevented. Recognizing that this lack of preventative care was a primary contributor to escalating healthcare costs, he decided to join Calderon Medical Group to tackle this issue, striving towards this goal as an advocate for his patients and their health. Dr. Belizario believes that patients and providers should be partners in managing the patient’s health, and he upholds this standard in his work by educating his patients and encouraging discipline in maintaining a healthy and happy lifestyle. As he also believes in leading by example, he tries to eat a balanced diet and stays active by focusing on cardio exercises, such as walking 2 miles a day and biking. In his free time, Dr. Belizario likes to sing karaoke and visits his new grandson every other week.
